Serbian cookbook - From welcome to goodbye coffee
Serbians are well-known for their hospitality. Whenever a dear guest arrives, we welcome them with black coffee, some sweet preserve and a glass of cold water. This coffee is known as “ Welcoming coffee“. We serve meals, specially prepared or whatever we have at the time, sitting around the table, chatting about almost anything… At the end of the meal, we serve coffee again, known as “ Goodbye coffee“.
